Usage
MAKE YOUR OWN SEAMOSS GEL:
1. Rinse the Sea Moss thoroughly to wash away the salt. Because our Sea Moss is wild harvested, you may even find small sea shells.
2. Once cleaned, place in a large bowl or container and soak in distilled or spring water for 4-8 hours. Do not use tap water.
3. After soaking, drain the water. You will see that it has become translucent and has doubled in size.
4. Place your Sea Moss in a high powered blender with some more distilled or spring water, and blend until it thickens and takes on a gel-like consistency.
5. Pour into a glass jar with a tight-fitting lid, let cool to room temperature and then store in the refrigerator (the product will solidify).
6. Add 1-2 teaspoons to your hot drinks, smoothies, soups, etc., or simply take it straight from the jar and enjoy the benefits.
Make sure you use a clean spoon each time to avoid contaminating the product.
Sea Moss Gel will last approximately 2-3 weeks and should be kept refrigerated at all times.
The gel can be frozen for up to 6 months, but freeze it in a suitable jar or container. Defrost the gel in the refrigerator. After defrosting, consume within two weeks and keep cool.
